Welcome!
It has been said that Christianity is not a religion but a relationship. How true! Jesus did not come to give the world a new religion, but to give Himself. But while knowing this, we believers repeat these statements until they become cliches, and we still fall back into mere religion: lifeless rituals, thoughtless Bible reading, outward actions without the inward mindset and heart. How do we get back to that living, active relationship to our Savior?
Jesus answered, "The greatest is, 'Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one: you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment.

This website is a collection of things I've written over the years on various topics ranging from the theological (apologetics) to knowing God better (discipleship, and short devotional-style thoughts). My walk with Christ has benefited greatly from spending time in God's Word, and I want to share what I've found. Just take a look at the topics listed under WRITINGS on the menu. If you find anything beneficial or interesting here, God gets the credit, not me. If you find anything that's outright wrong, I'll take the blame. (Just kindly let me know, will you? Thanks!)
I have also started a blog at fadingman.blogspot.com which focuses on knowing Jesus in a New Testament disciple way. Why not stop by and visit it?
